The band is together again, Cavs fans.
With J.R. Smith’s four-year, 57 million dollar contract officially inked, Cavs fans across the globe can breathe a collective sigh of relief.
As he waited for contract negotiations to come to a head, Smith wasn’t just lying around. He was staying in shape by working out at Garfield Heights High School.

Smith was recently spotted at Progressive Field with several of his teammates celebrating as the Cleveland Indians continue their march through the postseason.
Smith beamed with enthusiasm while speaking with members of the media at Cleveland Clinic Courts after practice Sunday.
Smith told Fred McLeod of Fox Sports Ohio that he has always loved baseball. And despite being a Yankees fan at heart, Smith has now embraced the Indians.

As for the upcoming basketball season, Smith tells McLeod, “I’m in great workout shape, but now I have to get in game shape.”
Smith also adds that he is excited to be back with the NBA champions, saying:
“It feels good to be back around the guys and be a part of it.”

The Cavaliers will be back in action on Tuesday night, as they face the Washington Wizards at The Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio at 7:00 p.m (Eastern Standard Time) for their final preseason tune-up.
Sam Amico reports that most of Cleveland’s starting rotation will play in Tuesday’s game, including Smith.
