Indians Win Streak Snapped at Six Following 6-5 Loss to Orioles; Three Takeaways from the Loss

A night after they put up huge numbers against the Orioles for their 6th straight win, the first-place Indians were back at it for game two on Tuesday night in Baltimore.

In a game defined by missed chances, the win streak for the Indians was broken with a tough 6-5 setback to the Orioles, a loss that is frustrating in that the team left 11 men on base.

Another frustrating factor is the team was up 5-2 until pitcher Josh Tomlin gave up a back breaking three-run shot to Manny Machado to tie the game up.

The two teams will be back at it tomorrow as the Tribe looks to get back on track. For now, here’s three takeaways from the loss as the team falls for the first time in almost a week.
