Yesterday was a welcome sight for Indians fans, as outfielder Michael Brantley was back in action in his Minor League game debut, slapping a double off the wall, driving in two runs.
There to support the efforts of Brantley were two of his Major League teammates, pitcher Josh Tomlin and second baseman Jason Kipnis.
As you can see in the tweet below from Jordan Bastian of MLB.com, Kipnis (joking of course) let out a loud ‘BOO’ when Brantley rounded second base after the double.
No doubt that it was all in good fun, but it’s rather humorous none the less to hear Kip in the background letting his teammate and good friend have it.

Kipnis himself even had some fun with booing his friend during his at-bat.

Here’s a quick 45 second clip from Bastian of Brantley after the game talking about his afternoon going 1-for-3.
