On Friday afternoon, Cleveland Indians pitcher Mike Clevinger posted a tweet regarding making baseball fun again.
The reasoning behind this statement from Clevinger is because he was given a letter from Major League Baseball stating that he violated Major League Baseball’s Uniform Regulations. The MLB stated that the Indians starting pitcher had “various illustrations” visible on his shoes during the Indians game against the Texas Rangers on May 1st.
Clevinger posted the letter on his Twitter page in which Major League Baseball explains the violation in depth.

Mike Clevinger doesn’t seem to be phased though by the letter issued to him as he posted his cleats that he plans on wearing Mother’s Day weekend (he starts on Saturday, May 12) and once again “various illustrations” will be on the cleats.
