3.) Indians Pitching Nearly Perfect
As mentioned previously, Salazar only had a rough inning in the first to begin the game and held the Mariners hitless after that inning. The Indians bullpen also held the Mariners hitless and were nearly perfect outside of an Andrew Miller walk.
Miller put in 1.2 innings of work and struck out 4 of the 6 batters that he faced in this afternoon’s appearance.
Cody Allen came on in the 9th inning looking to slam the door. Allen only faced 3 batters in the 9th inning. Allen started the 9th inning by making Kyle Seager fly out to right field and had two consecutive strikeouts. Cody Allen earned his 6th save of the 2017 season.

The Indians will be looking to win their second consecutive series tomorrow. The Tribe will be sending out Josh Tomlin and will be matched up against Chase De Jong of the Mariners.
