Indians infielder Jose Ramirez suffered a scary injury on Wednesday playing in the Dominican Winter League, as he took a hard slide at second base, and was carted off the field on a stretcher.
The good news is X-rays on his leg were negative and he is considered day-to-day. The Tribe utility man has been having a good season thus far in Winter ball thus far in 12 games with 15 hits a double and two triples.
