2. Calm, Cool, Carlos
Carlos Carrasco was very good on Saturday for the Indians, going 5.2, allowing a single run on six hits with two walks and six strikeouts.
Carrasco threw 92 pitches, 62 of which were strikes, and kept the M’s off the scoreboard for all but one inning in which they cut the Indians lead to 3-1.
In his last six starts, Carrasco has been the winning pitcher in five of those starts, and overall has allowed seven runs in 47 innings.
He’s going to be on the bump a lot as the Indians look to progress in the postseason, and again he’s proved his worth in a big way during the teams run of success.
