Danny Salazar was put on the DL back on June 6 for the Cleveland Indians in a 12-5 loss to Kansas City after pitching just 1 and 2/3 innings and now it is time for him to return to the rotation. However, there are only so many spots available in the starting rotation.
Recently, Corey Kluber has been battling a neck issue according to Tribe Manager, Terry Francona and could be pushed back in the lineup after the day off. This is still to be determined.
Francona: Salazar's next start will be for Indians. Rotation order after off-day TBD, tho. Kluber battling neck issue, could be pushed back.
