Indians Fans Fired Up on Twitter After the Stunning 7-4 Loss to the Reds

CLEVELAND – Indians Twitter was on fire Tuesday after the team lost to the Reds in stunning fashion 7-4, a loss that was amplified by the fact there was a ‘communication’ error between manager Terry Francona and pitching coach Carl Willis that led them to going to the wrong reliever with two outs in the 9th and the Indians still up 4-3.

The result was Dan Otero entering the game instead of Oliver Perez, and Otero allowed a 3-2 double to Joey Votto which cleared the bases and made it a 6-4 affair.

As would be expected after such a stunning setback, twitter was abuzz about the Indians and their manager following the miscue that put what looked to be an easy win in the ‘L’ column instead.
