3. Welcome back Michael Brantley
Cleveland activated outfielder Michael Brantley earlier on Saturday, and tonight he made his return.
How did he do? Well, let’s just say he delivered big time in the fifth inning. He was brought in as a pinch-hitter for Giovanny Urshela. During his 10 pitch at-bat, he hit a single to right field.
Brantley has been sidelined since Aug. 8th with an ankle injury. In pregame, Indians manager Terry Francona said postseason status for the outfielder is still uncertain
