1. Staying Aggressive
Indians hitters were able to plant three runs but most importantly, the hitters were able to stay patient and wait for their pitch. It was enough to get the job done tonight.
Everyone in the lineup besides Edwin Encarnacion, Austin Jackson and Carlos Santana got a hit. The hitters stayed patient at the plate against Baltimore starter Kevin Gausman, especially when Francisco Lindor launched a two-run homer to center field in the fifth. The Tribe would extend their lead in the ninth off Orioles reliever Miguel Castro when Francisco Lindor delivered a RBI single to right. It became a 5-0 game when Jason Kipnis singled to center for and RBI to score Roberto Perez.
