Carlos Carrasco strung together another fantastic outing in his 15th win of the year, setting a new single-season career-high for games won. He joins Corey Kluber and Trevor Bauer on the list of Cleveland pitchers with 15 wins, and the Indians are now the only team in baseball that has three starters with at least that many wins.
In six innings, Carrasco gave up just seven hits and one walk while striking out nine. Carrasco once again was great at recording strikes inside the zone to maximize his efficiency:
During the the win streak, Carrasco has made four starts. His ERA during those games is 0.62, and he has allowed just two runs in 29 innings of work.
In 23 of his 28 starts this season, Carrasco has struck out six or more batters.
His fantastic outing also allowed the Indians to bring in Danny Salazar as a reliever. Salazar stuck out one batter and gave up one hit in two innings of work.
