Indians bring the offensive fireworks in 10-4 win over Oakland; three takeaways

2. So extra

The Indians had a three-run third inning that got them back into the ball game after falling behind 2-1. Jose Ramirez came to the plate with two on and smacked a two-run double to right field to give the Indians their first lead of the game, 3-2.

With that double, Ramirez notched his 50th extra-base hit of the season. As a result, he and Francisco Lindor became the first pair of Indians teammates in franchise history to each have 50 or more extra-base hits in the first half of the season. They are the fifth duo to do so in MLB history, and the first since 2004.

Both Lindor and Ramirez notched two hits on Friday, giving them their 36th and 23rd multi-hit games of the season, respectively.
