1. Clevinger Sets the Pace
Tribe pitcher Mike Clevinger is going to make it a tough decision to keep him out of the playoff rotation at this point.
An afterthought for a spot in the rotation at the start of 2017, he’s now 11-5 after going 6 innings, allowing one run on three hits with two walks and six strikeouts.
He kept the Tribe in the game until their offense got going with three single runs in the 4th, 5th and 6th when the Indians took the lead for good.
Clevinger has won his last five starts, and was very good once again on Monday night for the Indians.
