The Medina Bees overcame a sluggish first quarter on the road to claim another GCC victory over the Elyria Pioneers. The Bees got away with a poor shooting night (29% from the floor), but clamped down on defense and improved their record to 6-0 on the season.
Lindsey Linard (12 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks) led the team while Aly Dwyer contributed 6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists and Elizabeth Stuart chipped in 4 points.
Katie Neate sparked the team on defense by grabbing 7 steals and propelled the Bees to victory. For the season, Medina is holding teams to an average of 33.7 points per game.
Medina travels to Shaker Heights on Saturday, December 15.
