The Lady Titans traveled to Canton to participate in the Thanksgiving Bulldog Battle on Friday. The Titans defeated Walsh Jesuit 44-42.
Down 42-35 with 3:30 on the clock, they went on a 9-0 run to escape a tough shooting night and came out with a victory. Sophomore Lindsey Seballos hit a baseline jumper with 28 seconds left to give the Titans the lead for good.
Junior Halle Davis led the way with 14 points, Junior Sydney Lantow added 12 points, Seballos and Sophomore Athena Sevastos added 5 points, Senior Kayla Gudel added 4 points, and Freshman Jenna Bycznski added 4 points.
The Titans will open up SWC play this Wednesday at Avon Lake.
