HS Bowling: Vermilion Boys and Girls Bowling Take Home Wins Over the Clyde Filers

The Vermilion boys varsity bowling team topped Cylde on Thursday afternoon at Plaza Lanes 2894 to 2658.

Joe Sheets led a balanced team effort for a team win for the Sailors. Sheets bowled games of 203,211 for a 414 series. Ethan Fecto with a series 397, Matt Ponczocha had 392 series.

The Sailors last regular season match is against Tiffin-Columbian Thursday the 31st at Plaza Lanes in Fremont.

The lady Sailors varsity bowling also won on Thursday, as they beat Clyde 1780-1751.

With games of 182,153 (335 series) Carla Scarvelli led the Lady Sailors to victory against the Fliers.

Also bowling well was Kaitlyn Heatley with games of 178,146 for a great series of 324.

Next is Tiffin-Columbian Thursday the 31st for the lady Sailors last match of the season.
