If you know me, know me, know me, then you’ve heard this story before on becoming a Cleveland Browns fan.

West Coast Bound!
After leaving an amazing research experience in the Midwest (yes, at the University of Michigan, please get over it OSU fans), the lab I was apart of was invited to be pioneers in the West. A magical place called San Diego. I knew it was a bad idea as soon as I finished my top notch research session which included watching Anchor Man 200 times.

Well, unfortunately I was right about everything living in San Diego! It was a nightmare for me personally, not just the FACT that there wasn’t one good Jewish Deli in the whole county.

Back to The Land and the Browns!
Being involved in other fan bases and never really feeling comfortable adopting my own favorite team (we all have Pittsburgh relatives), I made a very important decision. The day I learned I was moving to Cleveland was the happiest day of my life. I went back to my happy place, the Midwest. I left all the predicted trauma in SoCal.

Here we go, Brownies, here we go!
The more I learned about the Browns the more I learned to love everything about the team. The heart, the grit, and the FANs. I chose my own misery and that was on purpose.

The fans are what made me choose the Browns because there is one thing I know we can not choose in this life: where we were born, who we were born to, and what our genetics do to us over time.
I am a Browns Fan!

I fell in love with all things Cleveland, especially the hope, faith, and good people that surround the Cleveland Browns.
Here’s to the 2023 Cleveland Browns!
