Historic Win Streak Snapped at 22 – Indians Lose to Royals 4-3; Three Takeaways From the Loss

The streak finally is over. Friday night the Indians fought hard once again against the Kansas City Royals, but for the first time since August 23rd took a ‘L’ as they dropped a 4-3 decision to KC, stopping their 22-game winning streak.

The team had plenty of chances, including a backbreaking double play hit into by Austin Jackson in the 7th inning with two runners on and one out that could have been a big inning.

We all knew that the streak was going to end, and while it was fun taking a loss should refocus this team, and hopefully they will be able to get right back on track on Saturday in front of another sold out crowd at Progressive Field.

Here’s a breakdown of the game and some takeaways from something we haven’t done in awhile – that is chat about a Tribe loss which puts them at 91-57 on the season.
