High School Football Player of the Week Poll: Who was the top performer Week Three?

Week Three saw a great slate of high school football games! There were many standout players. We at NEOSI have sorted through the games and found the candidates for this week’s Player of the Week. Voting closes Thursday and winner will be announced then. You can come back and vote once daily!

Bo Jackson – Villa Angela-St. Joseph

Jackson was a force to be reckoned with as Villa Angela-St. Joseph blanked Mansfield 60-0. The Ohio State commit running back had over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns – in the first half!

Caleb Hewitt – Chardon

Tailback, Caleb Hewitt, had 113 yards rushing on 15 carries. Hewitt also had success through the air with 100 receiving yards on 3 catches. The tailback had 2 touchdowns in the 24-7 win over Avon Lake.

Deaunte White – Xenia

Deaunte White destroyed the single game school rushing record going for 388 yards on 34 carries. He breaks the old record of 285 yards set by Sincere Wells in 2018! White also rushed for 7 TDs yes…SEVEN…in the 48-7 win over Sidney.

Gavin Madigan – Wadsworth

Madigan had 2 rushing touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the Grizzlies 51-7 destruction of Medina. The Wadsworth Junior was integral in the team win.
