Tragedy has struck Coventry High School as one of their senior football players, Issac Stover, has passed away after an apparent suicide.
Stover was number 51 for the Comets, and was listed as a linebacker and offensive tackle.
This past season for the Comets he tallied 95 tackles, 3 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles, as Coventry went 8-2 overall.
Stover also played on November 24th in the annual ‘Thanks4Giving All Star Game’ in Akron at Stow High School.
News of Stover’s passing struck early on Wednesday.
Many of his classmates and those that played against Stover took to social media on Wednesday to pay their respects.
The staff of NEO Sports Insiders sends their thoughts and prayers to the Stover family

Poor kid…heart goes out to the family of this horrible tragedy.
“Permenant Solution to a temporary problem” kids. Stay strong and talk to someone, you would be surprised how many have the same issues and can show you how to cope.

This is so sad, I’ve been in.his shoes at 13 but his had his own plans for me, thankfully. Children need to know from the start that they have a safe place always. At home, at school and in their own neighborhood. STOP TALKING ABOUT IT PARENTS…LETS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I HURT MY MOTHER TO THE CORE AND I WILL NEVER THINK THAT’S THE WAY OUT AGAIN. IT STARTS WITH COMMUNICATION AT HOME. NO CHILD SHOULF FEEL AS IF THEY HAVE NOBODY TO TELL. MY HEART IS WITH THIS FAMILY???

We have set up a gofundme account to help off set funeral expenses for the family. This is a great way to help if your heart needs to but just not sure how to.
