It’s a very special Sunday in Baltimore for the Cleveland Indians, as their manager Terry Francona turns 59-years old today. Francona has had a ton of success managing teams before his 60th birthday, including two World Series victories with the Boston Red Sox and an American League Championship with the Tribe. Francona enters his 59th birthday with 1,493 wins and a .539 winning percentage during runs with the Red Sox, Indians, and Philadelphia Phillies.
Twitter wished Francona a happy birthday before the Tribe’s game this afternoon:
Our leader. Our captain. Our manager.

Happy '80s Birthday to Terry Francona who was a helluva hitter until his knees gave out.
Tito was the Golden Spikes award winner in 1980. He hit .401 that season at the University of Arizona and led them to the College World Series title. All he did in the CWS was hit .458. pic.twitter.com/b5DGpVGDlp
