Josh Bell has been struggling since joining his new club however being a part of a Cleveland walk-off might just be the spark Bell needs. He recorded his first walk-off plate appearance since July 15, 2018, while a member of the Pirates, with a fielder’s choice that scored Jose Ramirez. Bell has expressed his respect of the team’s never-quit attitude and he was right in the mix of it today.
With the 7-6 victory the Guardians are 6-4 on the season. The Yankees will come to town on Monday for a 3-game series. First pitch for Monday’s game is 6:10.
The last time Cleveland faced New York was in Game 5 of the ALDS last season. Will be interesting to see if any “babies are rocked” in Cleveland.
