AJ Styles vs Shane McMahon
Grade – A
This match was a good choice to start off the card. It was sure to deliver plenty of action and a few nice bumps to get the crowd moving. It did a lot better then I thought it would, however, AJ has proven time and time again that it is impossible to have a bad match with him. I would like to see AJ remain the top heel on Smackdown moving forward with this. A feud between him and Randy Orton for the title should begin sooner then later.
United States Champion Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens
Grade D
What a giant letdown this one was. I truly thought it would be the match of the night with nothing else even coming close to touching it. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
It was on way too early in the show, and took away all importance by having it come out second. Why they had it follow Styles vs Shane is beyond me. It simply made no sense.
RAW Women’s Champion Bayley vs Nia Jax, Charlotte & Sasha Banks
Grade – B
While nothing will top last year’s title match involving Charlotte, Lynch and Banks, this one was awfully good as well. WWE is trying hard to make this Bayley title run work. After RAW, a feud with Emma appears next.
RAW tag Team Champions Anderson & Gallows vs Enzo & Cass, The Hardy Boyz & Shamus & Cesaro.
Grade – A
The Hardy Boyz showed up, won and looked great doing it! What more of a reason do you want or need?
