The Glenville Tarblooders do not have to forfeit two games after their punishment was overturned for an incident from Aug. 29, when an ineligible player was on the roster.
The two games will be reinstated according to attorney Michael L. Nelson, Sr., who filed the appeal on behalf of Glenville.
As a result, Glenville is 5-3 on the season, still alive in the playoff race and it keeps their conference streak alive, as the Tarblooders have not lost a game against Senate League opponents since 1997.
Although Glenville still gets credited with the two wins, there will be a separate hearing to determine the status of the ineligible player.

The OHSAA should be ashamed of themselves Matt. They are teaching our student athletes that it is ok to cheat to get ahead in life! It was proven that they were in violation, yet it is allowed. This is absolutely pathetic and tarnishes the reputation of Ohio High School Football.
