5.) Teddy Long was back
Suggests a fatal four way tag match for the WWE Tag Team Championships to Stephanie McMahon for Money in the Bank. Steph takes the idea and runs with it as her own. Funny that Long made a tag team match, which he was always known for. Long came around so that he could make his case to be the General Manager of Smackdown when it goes live.
4.) Titus O’Neil vs Rusev at Money in the Bank?
Rusev faced off against Jack Swagger and Titus was on commentary. Rusev threw Swagger into Titus and post match O’Neil attacked Rusev. Was Titus going to get this push before he got suspended or is this an apology for the suspension?
3.) Women’s Division Rough
Charlotte came out with Dana Brooke and asked if she can be Daddy’s little girl again and wanted to clarify that she didn’t want Ric Flair around professionally. Eventually Becky Lynch and Natayla attempted to convince Brooke to leave Charlotte’s side, since Charlotte always turns on anyways that is with her. Super bad segment. Where are Paige and Sasha Banks? Natayla is stale in this storyline with Charlotte.
2.) Big Cass aggressiveness
Enzo and Cass faced off against The Vaudevillians. Aiden English threw Enzo to the outside (Like they did back at Payback which lead to Enzo getting a concussion). Enzo didn’t hit his head on the rope or mat this time but when his tag team partner, Big Cass saw this…a switch was flipped. Big Cass went on to attack English and Simon Gotch which lead to Cass getting his team disqualified. Really loved seeing the aggressive side of Cass.
1.) John Cena calls out AJ Styles
Cena compares the electricity from last week between the two to the electricity between him and the Rock. Styles says the reasoning for The Club is because Cena tends to bury guys like Styles so they are insuring that they keep his head above ground. I’m shocked at the fact that they mentioned the fact Cena buries talent on WWE television. Styles as a heel didn’t impress me too much in this exchange but I have hope. Cena was fantastic during this. Looking forward to the match between the two.
