5. What Happened to the Run Game?

Last week Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson appeared to run with a chip on their shoulders, as the team gave that extra effort that helped in a big way in the teams 28-14 win over the Titans. Sunday vs the Raiders there was nowhere to go, and the running backs as a whole ran for a whopping 39 yards on 14 carries, a 2.8 yards per carry average. Crowell did have a nice 17-yard run on a drive that should have ended with a TD as the club had first and goal, but instead they settled for a field goal. This run game needs something, and what that is right now is anyone’s guess.
