2. Thad Lewis’ Tough Night
Lewis got the start filling in for Josh McCown and an injured Johnny Manziel. Lewis got sacked seven times and had an interception returned 25 yards for a touchdown by Chicago’s Sherrod Martin in the third quarter.
He went 14-for-20 for 100 yards, an average of just 5 yards per pass, ouch. The offense as a whole looked stuck in the mud all night, as they were outgained 279-147 by the Bears.
Lewis had a chance to at least make an impact, and wasn’t able to get a point on the board in a game vs mostly backups for the Browns.
