Week 13 at LA Chargers
We all remember Christmas Eve 2016 when the Browns defeated the Chargers for their lone win of the season. The Browns showed they can play with the Chargers, a team that has not improved greatly from last season. The Chargers continue to lose tight games. Despite their current winning 5 of 7 games, 4 of the 5 wins came against teams with losing records and ravished by injuries. They have failed to show they can beat a quality team all season. At 5-6 and looking to catch the Chiefs, they may very well be looking right past the Browns, and it can hurt them.
The Browns remember that win from last season, that alone will give them hope. Perhaps the biggest cause for positive thinking will be the return of Josh Gordon to the lineup as well. This will give Kizer two downfield threats with Gordon and Corey Coleman. Anything can happen. My gut is that the Chargers may take them lightly, and the Browns may just win that game you don’t think they will.
Reason to believe they can win – Josh Gordon will spark the offense against a team over looking them.
