Shannon Brown
The most successful of the five players listed in this article, Shannon Brown was a short-lived Cavalier. After being drafted 25th overall in the 2006 NBA Draft, Brown spent 38 regular season games with Cleveland. In that time, Brown didn’t play a ton and served more so as a second-unit player. But he did have the experience of playing in the 2007 NBA Finals, a series in which Cleveland was swept by the San Antonio Spurs.
Brown bounced around from team to team after the first stage of his career. He finished by playing with eight teams, as he also played for Chicago, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Antonio, New York, and Miami. The shooting guard finished with 7.6 points per game.
Brown is currently in the NBA’s G-League, where he plays for the Delaware 87ers.
