The Cavs seem like they have just about everything you could imagine a great team would want.
Arguably, the best player on the planet.
Two young All-Stars in Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.
And a much deeper bench than last season, when their lack of depth was exposed in the NBA Finals.
The Cavs are kind of like that hard to buy for friend, who already has everything you can think of…
But you know what can’t be bought?
HEALTH
Yes, the Cavs are a great team. They addressed their biggest weakness after June, fortifying their bench with veterans who can contribute night in and night out, like Mo Williams and Richard Jefferson.
But if there is one flaw in the way this roster was constructed, it is that so many guys have missed extended amounts of time due to injury, throughout their careers.
Whether it’s Hanukkah, Christmas, or any other holiday under the sun, you can bet that David Blatt, David Griffin, LeBron James, and Dan Gilbert are all asking for nothing more than the health of the guys around them to make their wish come true, of bringing a championship to Cleveland for the first time in 52 years.
