Cleveland– In a marathon of a game that lasted just over four hours, Edwin Encarnacion had the final say.
The Tribe defeated the LA Angels in walk-off fashion, 11-7, after a grand slam from Encarnacion in the bottom of the 11th inning.
Tonight’s contest is Cleveland’s third walk-off win in the 2017 season.
After scoring seven runs in the bottom of the second inning, the Tribe wouldn’t get on the board again until Encarnacion’s game-ending bomb.
The Indians are now 8-0 against the Angels at home over the last three seasons and are currently on a five-game win streak, just one win shy of matching their longest win streak of the year.
Here are three takeaways from tonight’s photo finish.
