Frankie Trinetti and DJ Sears connected on three touchdown passes and Sears added a rushing touchdown as the Cougars defeated the Bombers Thursday night, 49-14.

Lake Catholic then scored again late in the first quarter on a 76-yard touchdown pass from Trinetti to 6’6″ standout tight end Cross Nimmo to take a 14-0 lead with 1:27 left in the first quarter.
Kenston would get on the scoreboard early in the second quarter to make the score 14-7 when University of Akron commit and NEOSI Player of the Week Sean Patrick scored on a short touchdown run.
After Kenston scored, Lake Catholic then got three unanswered touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 35-7 lead over Kenston heading into halftime.
First, with 8:09 left in the second quarter, Lake Catholic quarterback Frankie Trinetti connected with DJ Sears on a 16-yard touchdown pass as Lake Catholic took a 21-7 lead.

Lake Catholic then ended the first half with a pick six by Jimmy Rhodes and a 9-yard touchdown pass from Trinetti to Sears to go into halftime leading 35-7.

Lake Catholic scored again early in the third quarter when Josh Styles scored on a 76-yard touchdown run to make the score 42-7.
Lake Catholic scored their final touchdown of the game at the end of the third quarter to take a 49-7 lead when Frankie Trinetti completed his third touchdown pass of the game to DJ Sears for a 45-yard touchdown with one second left in the third quarter.

Kenston added a fourth quarter score on a Cohen Clark touchdown run to make the final score 49-14.
Lake Catholic next plays Canton Central Catholic while Kenston faces Chardon in week six matchups.
