DeShone Kizer Benched; Kevin Hogan in to Start Second Half of Browns-Jets Battle

CLEVELAND – After a first half which saw him lead an offense which turned the ball over twice inside the Jets 10-yard line, the Browns have (for the moment) made a change at the quarterback spot.

DeShone Kizer was given a seat in favor of Kevin Hogan, who came in and on his first drive threw a pretty touchdown pass to tight end David Njoku.

Kizer was awful, as was the offense as a whole, as he went just 8-for-17 for 87 yards with a pick and a QB rating of 38.1

No matter the outcome, it will be the first question asked of Hue Jackson when he takes the podium after the Browns and Jets wrap up.

Hugh Jackson is a joke. His decision making cost us the game against Pittsburgh, and his decision making cost us this game too. It is not just the Kizer thing, but everything. His time clock management is terrible, his personal decisions are awful as well. Enough is enough with this Clown. I’ve never been a fire the coach kind of fan, but you cannot digress each week. He needs to go!
