3. Rest Is On The Way- Possibly the biggest takeaway is the fact that the Cavs took care of business and will now have at least a week to rest and prepare for their Eastern Conference Finals matchup. Whom it will be against is still up in the air, as Philadelphia pushed the series to a fifth game with their Game 4 victory over Boston.
But it’s obvious that LeBron James, who hasn’t missed a game in 93 contests this season, will embrace the rest. And he should, as it comes at a pivotal point in the playoff run. With teams duking it out in long-winded five or six games series, it’s nice to be able to garner some recuperation time. The team did that a lot throughout the previous three postseasons but didn’t have that luxury to start things off in the 2018 playoffs. But with seemingly everything clicking for Cleveland, this next week will take care of the tired legs the squad has worked up over the first two rounds.
