Cleveland- Thursday morning the Cleveland Cavaliers released an update on the status of owner Dan Gilbert.
On Wednesday Gilbert was released from the hospital and will continue recovery in a in- patientrehabilitation center. Gilbert had been in the hospital for a few weeks after experiencing stroke like symptoms.
Jay Farmer the Quicken Loans CEO has served as the spokesmen for the Gilbert family during this time. Farmer says ” the Gilbert family is thankful for the tremendous outpouring of support they have received.”
The Cavaliers hold the 5th and 26th picks in tonight’s NBA draft. General manager Koby Aultman has been in charge of the draft process while Gilbert has been away.
