Corey Kluber will once again be an All Star. Kluber will be joining teammates Francisco Lindor and Danny Salazar.
Marco Estrada of the Toronto Blue Jays will be missing the All Star Game due to a sore back. Kluber will be his replacement.
Kluber makes his first All Star appearance with this news. Kluber this year has an 8-8 record, 3.79 ERA, 114 Strikeouts, 3 Complete Games, and 2 Shut Outs.
This will be the first time since 2007 that the Indians would have Three All Stars. In 2007 those All Stars were Victor Martinez, C.C. Sabathia, and Grady Sizemore.
If you are the superstitious type, this could be a good sign because remember back in 2007 , the Indians made it to the ALCS…even though they lost to the Boston Red Sox.
