CLEVELAND– The Cleveland Indians have officially sold out their 2018 home opener against the Kansas City Royals on April 6.
The tickets were not yet on sale to the general public. According to a press release from the club, the game sold out during presale due to an “increase in season ticket holders this year and strong demand in their exclusive presales.” This is the 26th straight year the team has sold out the home opener.
Tickets for the remainder of the season will go on sale tomorrow, March 6, to the general public at 10 a.m., online only.
According to the release, however, tickets in the lower bowl for many of the summer weekend games are already sold out or limited.
