Cleveland Browns Trade Deadline Opportunities

Before Cleveland moves into the second half of the 2023 season there are some major holes in the roster that could be addressed this week. Cleveland could be looking to upgrade at LT with the lack of performance from Jed Wills and there are reports of Cleveland looking for a WR to add to the roster. The Browns have some movable pieces like DPJ, Jed Wills, and some draft stock as well.

Possible Targets

Some of the possible trade targets for the Browns would include Broncos wideout Jerry Jeudy who Denver has been shopping, the only issue could be an asking price from Denver. Another Denver player could be on the Browns Radar as well in LT Garrett Bowles. These acquisitions could allow us to move Wills or DPJ for more draft stock or to bring in some backups for the rotation or even allow the Browns to trade for another backup QB if Watson is going to be out for significant time. Another player that could be on the radar but is unlikely would-be Jets RB Dalvin Cook. With the Jets looking for a trade partner and the Browns missing Nick Chubb, it is unlikely however because of the production from Jerome Ford.
