44. DAVE LOGAN, WR, 1976, 3/65, Colorado, 1976-83. Quarterback Brian Sipe spread the wealth among a fleet of receivers, the primary reason Logan didn’t catch more than 262 passes. What mattered is when he caught the football — often late in close games — and what the Browns got out of the catch. Logan averaged 16.2 yards a catch; never less than 14.9 in a season.
43. ROB BURNETT, DE, 1990, 5/129, Syracuse, 1990-95. Made the Pro Bowl in 1994, helping the Browns go 11-5 and win a playoff game — their last postseason win. Totaled 40.5 quarterback sacks, including 35.5 when he started every game from 1992 to 1995.
42. REGGIE LANGHORNE, WR, 1985, 7/175, Elizabeth City State, 1985-91. Fearless receiver caught 261 passes, averaging 13.8 yards per catch. In seven playoff games, Langhorne caught 26 passes for 370 yards and two touchdowns.
41. JOE HADEN, CB, 2010, 1/7, Florida, 2010-present. Emerged as a first-rate man-to-man pass defender during his rookie season. His job has often been complicated by a subpar Browns’ pass rush. Nagging injuries seemed to somewhat diminish Haden’s effectiveness in 2014, and multiple injuries limited him to five games played last season. If Haden can get healthy and stay healthy, he’s young enough to return to full form and move up on a list such as this.
40. CLARENCE SCOTT, CB-S, 1971, 1/14, Kansas State, 1971-83. Missed one game in his rookie season and no more. Intercepted 39 passes. Earned all-league or Pro Bowl recognition twice. Played eight years at left corner, then four at strong safety and one at free safety.
