The Cleveland Browns made some roster moves this Monday morning. The team announced the signings of linebacker Jason Neill and offensive lineman Cory Tucker.
The team had to make room for these two additions; therefore, offensive lineman Conor Boffeli and linebacker Jackson Jeffcoat were waived.
Jason Neill is a 6-2, 266 pound rookie linebacker. He spent his college career at Texas-San Antonio were he set a UTSA record with 14 career sacks.
Cory Tucker is a 6-4, 315 pound rookie offensive lineman. He spent his college career at Slippery Rock where he started 48 career games and helped his team finish the 2015 season with the highest scoring offense in the country (45.2 points per game).
These two athletes hope to overcome adversity and make it on the 53-man roster. We will continue to update you if more players get signed or waived.
