The Browns traded up in the draft to get Wilson in the fourth round. Wilson spent three seasons with the Houston Cougars.
Browns Head Coach Hue Jackson had this to say about Wilson’s injury:
“It is unfortunate. He will be out for a while, significant time. We will deal with it accordingly. His spirits are high. He understands it. He understands what he is dealing with. He has already started the process of getting his mind beyond that so he can get himself back as soon as he can.”

Wilson’s injury will require surgery and will force him to miss time during the 2017 season. There is no timetable on his return at the moment but after surgery, a timetable should be given.
