The Cleveland Browns announced today that they have placed defensive end Desmond Bryant on the reserve/non-football injury (NFI) and have signed tight end David Reeves.
Bryant suffered a season ending injury when he tore his pectoral muscle during an offseason workout this summer. He led the Browns in sacks last season with 6, and hopes to come back next season and produce again at a high level.
David Reeves is a 6-4, 255-pound rookie tight end from Duke University. In his college career he registered 47 receptions for 367 yards and seven touchdowns.
