The NFL world continues to be stunned over the flat out inability by the Browns last week to complete what should have been a simple trade with the Cincinnati Bengals to be able to acquire quarterback A.J. McCarron.
Yesterday on the pregame for CBS Amy Trask, former CEO of the Oakland Raiders, broke down exactly what takes place as part of making a deal, and trust me, it’s two minutes of your life that is well worth spending hearing how it’s done, as well as her two theories of what’s going on with the Browns.

Another voice on the Browns Sunday is someone who knows the organization pretty well coaching against them for a long time, that being former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher.
The former coach known as ‘the chin’ feels that the Browns coaches and front office are very much not on the same page, another reason the trade didn’t happen.
“When the head coach and front office don’t see eye to eye, you don’t have a chance,” Cowher said. “Obviously, Hue Jackson wanted AJ McCarron. He did not get him, and now they’re continuing to go down this path without a quarterback, and without stability. And that’s a shame.”
The 2017 Browns, becoming more and more like the soap opera ‘As the World Turns’ every day, will be back at it Sunday in Detroit against the Lions who play Monday night against the Packers.

Amazing these media keep focusing on the mechanics. The TRUTH is that Hue J attempted to steal a 2&3 pick, perhaps to give to his friends in CIN, for AJ McCarron who nobody in their right mind would give away a high 2 and high 3 for.
It should be very clear to these media that the front office of the Browns are true heroes here for thwarting this loony Hue trade. It has NOTHING to do with the clock, the phone call, the email or the fax. It has EVERYTHING to do with a bright, intelligent front office stopping the total idiot Hue J from grand larceny of the Browns trade assets.
C’mon CBS and the rest of you media. I mean really, you still don’t know the reality?
