The Cavs have dropped seven of their last 12 games, including an awful defensive effort at home against the Wizards in a setback on Saturday.
Tonight the team’s task won’t be an easy one, as they travel to Texas to take on the San Antonio Spurs, a team that is just two games back of the Golden State Warriors for the top spot in the Western Conference.
More bad news came the Cavs way today, as left foot soreness will again sideline PF/SG Kyle Korver. The former Hawk missed seven games from March 9th to the 19th, and against the Wizards on Saturday scored 10 points in close to 21 minutes.
Iman Shumpert is questionable as well for the Cavs, he didn’t play in Saturday’s loss at home to Washington.
The Cavs enter action tonight tied with the Celtics for the top spot in the East, the Cavs at 47-25 with the Celtics at 48-26.
