Cavs Win Streak Snapped at 13 in 106-102 Loss to Pacers; Three Takeaways from the Defeat

3. Too Much Victor

Victor Oladipo, the Pacers 2013 first-round pick was the key factor in the Pacers win over the Cavs Friday night, putting in 33 points with eight rebounds.

Oladipo seemed to hit the big shots whenever the Cavs were ready to get back into the game, and kept them at bay in the back and forth third quarter until the Pacers used an 11-2 run to put distance between themselves and Cleveland.

On the night Oladipo was 11-for-24 shooting, and 6-for-13 from three-point range, and also was 5-for-10 from the free throw line.

The 6’4 shooting guard rose up to the challenge and the Cavs were unable to stop him, much like the game back in Cleveland on November 1st when he had 23 points in the Pacers runaway win.
