CLEVELAND– The Cleveland Cavaliers unveiled their official playoff logo and slogan on Thursday morning.
“Whatever it Takes” will be the rallying cry in 2018, just like “Defend the Land” and “All In” have been throughout the previous Cavs playoff runs.
“When it’s win or go home, everything takes on greater importance,” a press release announcing the slogan said. “Everything is on the line. Every single thing matters – everything. CLEVELAND wants it more, and we will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to WIN. We’re united against those who say we can’t and are eager to show the world that we can…and will.”
Banners and window displays around Quicken Loans Arena featuring the “Whatever It Takes” slogan are going up today. Given all the Cavs have been through this season, it certainly is fitting.
