3. High-octane offense
Saturday was just the latest example of the Cavs’ offense working in overdrive.
Cleveland shot 42-of-79 (.532) from the field, making it the third consecutive game where the team has shot better than 50 percent. They also extended their franchise record of consecutive games with 10 or more 3s to 19 contests, going 10-of-22 from deep.
They are doing all of this as a team, however, as they dished out 30 assists for the third straight game and the fourth time this season. Five players scored in double-figures (James-29, Love-15, Korver-12, Green-11, Osman-10) as a result of sharing the ball.
After a great 4-0 homestand, the Cavs head to Washington for the second leg of a back-to-back on Sunday. Over this four-game homestand, the Cavs averaged 114.5 points on .518 shooting, including a staggering .472 from beyond the 3-point arc.
