2. Just another day at LeBron James’ office
LeBron James recorded his fifth triple-double of the season and the 60th of his career with game-highs in points (29), rebounds (11) and assists (10). He also shot .600 from the field (9-of-15).
James has now recorded a triple-double in three of the last four games, and is averaging a triple-double over Cleveland’s 11-game win streak at home.
“It starts with the team first,” James said when asked about that particular stat. “For us to have a home dominance that we’ve had as of late, that’s something that’s very key for our team, especially going into the future. We’ve just been playing good ball and as the leader of the team, I’m just trying to do my part.”
With his triple-double on Saturday, he officially passes Larry Bird for sixth place on the career triple-doubles list.
