1. First-half ball movement
During this rough patch, The Cavs’ offense has been at its worst when the team falls into too much isolation basketball. On Thursday night, it appeared as though they finally began to realize that in the first half (my, how short-lived that turned out to be).
The ball movement started off excellent against the Magic. In the first quarter alone, the Cavs assisted on 12 of their 15 field goals. By the end of the first half, they had 19 assists (a season high in a first half) on their 25 made baskets. All 10 players that got on the floor in the first half scored, and five of those players had two or more assists.
Watch us sink ALL 19 assists of the 1st half, to set a season high for assists in any 1st half this season!#AllForOne pic.twitter.com/psfMzcwTOj

But as good as the first half was as far as fast-paced offense went, the second half lethargy nearly cost Cleveland the game.
